Endoscopy and minimal invasion

Minimally invasive techniques are a reality at our centre. And together with the support of highly experienced external colleagues, we put them into practice and offer them in the most suitable cases.

Techniques such as rigid endoscopy of the respiratory tract by our own staff, flexible endoscopy and laparoscopy and thoracoscopy by external partners mean that the possibilities for interventions are very high.

Endoscopy requires anaesthesia, so there is no pain or trauma for the patient. It can be used to explore the nose, ears, digestive system, respiratory system, reproductive system and urinary system.

When is endoscopy considered?

It is recommended for understanding the cause of sneezing, vomiting, diarrhoea or urinary problems in pets and can be used to remove objects from the nose, lungs, stomach or oesophagus without painful surgery.

Recovery time is immediate, so once it is done, the pet can resume its daily life right away.
