Diego San Sebastián
Veterinary Director
A graduate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 1989, he is co-founder and co-director of the Donostia Veterinary Hospital, where he specialises in traumatology and endoscopy. A senior veterinarian, he also founded the Anoeta Veterinary Clinic and is responsible for soft tissue surgery and small animal medicine and surgery.He holds a European postgraduate speciality in endoscopy (GPCet) and is an active member of the AVEPA working groups in endoscopy and traumatology. At Donostia Veterinary Hospital, he shares the responsibility of the endoscopy service with Laia Piera, the traumatology area with Javier Miner, and anaesthetics with Eider Sarobe. Outside the professional sphere, he is a passionate football fan and a fervent follower of Real Sociedad, as well as enjoying walking in the mountains and spending time with his family and friends.
Aitor Llamas
Veterinary Director
Aitor is a senior veterinarian and co-director of the Donostia Veterinary Hospital, as well as founder of the Ipareco ambulatory ultrasound service. He holds a European postgraduate degree in Internal Medicine (GPCert(SAM)) and another in Cardiology (GPCert(Card)), as well as a degree in Advanced Radiodiagnostic Technology.Aitor is responsible for the Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery service of the centre. His specialisation and leadership in these areas reflect his dedication and experience in the veterinary field.
Javier Miner
Veterinary Director
Javier Miner is a senior veterinarian specialising in traumatology and co-founder of Donostia Veterinary Hospital. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Zaragoza. He has a diploma in neurology from ESAVS, as well as a postgraduate Advanced Certificate in Traumatology from Improve ESVPS.He is currently head of the Neurology service and jointly responsible for the Traumatology service together with Diego San Sebastián. He is also an active member of the AVEPA working groups in neurology and traumatology. Javier has oriented his professional training towards traumatology, orthopaedics and neurology, undertaking various courses and placements.
In his spare time, he enjoys martial arts and rugby.
Verónica Migoya
Veterinarian
Senior Veterinarian, specialised in emergency, hospitalisation and intensive care, and jointly responsible for the oncology service together with Ane Azpiazu. She graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of León in 2017, holds a European postgraduate specialisation in oncology (GPCert(Onco)) and is certified in the use of electrochemotherapy.Passionate about the sea, travelling and reading, she especially enjoys spending time with her beloved kitty Kara.
Oihana San Sebastián
Veterinarian
Antonia graduated from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia in 2021. With a great interest in feline medicine, she completed a postgraduate degree in this speciality and continues her training with courses and congresses,the last one being on feline geriatrics.In May 2022, she joined the team of the Veterinary Hospital Ciutat d’Inca, where feline medicine stands out. In this centre, Antonia can contribute and expand her knowledge in the area she is passionate about.
Ana Larrañaga

Ana is a senior veterinarian. She holds a GPCert(SAM), a European postgraduate degree in small animal internal medicine, as well as a postgraduate degree in diagnostic imaging obtained at CEU.Maddi Mitxelena
Veterinarian
A graduate from the University of León, Maddi has been working as a veterinary surgeon since 2015. After working as a general veterinary surgeon in primary care centres in León and Eibar, she joined the emergency team in 2019.Maddi has postgraduate qualifications in Traumatology, Orthopaedics and, specifically, Soft Tissue Surgery, a field she has specialised in over the last few years. Also passionate about music, she has been playing the piano since she was a child and takes lessons in her spare time. She also has her dog Kalima, who is now a member of the hospital team, and has been with her since she adopted her in 2022.
Emilio Rodríguez
Veterinarian
He graduated from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in 2022. His interest in the small animal clinic grew as he studied subjects specialising in pets.He is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in veterinary training. He started working as a general veterinarian at the Veterinary Hospital Ciutat d’Inca. Due to its high volume of work and the excellent team at this hospital, it is a great opportunity to continue training in the different areas of veterinary medicine. In particular, he has a special interest in cardiology.
Ane Jaime
Veterinaria
Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza in 2016, she is dedicated to general medicine and is currently in the process of specialising in ophthalmology, doing a postgraduate degree in ocular pathology and surgery at the U.C.M.As a senior veterinary surgeon, she is responsible for general practice, combining her experience with ongoing learning in her speciality. In her spare time, she enjoys running and is passionate about mountains and travel, reflecting her love of nature and discovering new places.
Berta Limousin
Veterinaria
Berta graduated from Zaragoza University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2022 and has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, an area in which she is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree.As a veterinary surgeon, she is responsible for the emergency, hospitalisation and intensive care areas.
In her spare time, Berta is a fan of sports, particularly enjoying Crossfit and running, activities that complement her professional dedication and reflect her energy and commitment both inside and outside the veterinary field.
Ana Teberio
Veterinaria
Graduated from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in 2022. Her interests in small animal clinics grew as she studied subjects specialising in companion animals.She is currently studying a postgraduate course in veterinary training. She started working as a general veterinarian at the Ciutat d’Inca Veterinary Hospital. Due to its high workload and the excellent team that makes up this hospital, it is a great way to continue training in the different areas of veterinary medicine. In particular, he has a special interest in cardiology.
Leticia García
Veterinario
Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 2020, she completed a two-year internship at the Veterinary Hospital of the same university, obtaining her Master's degrees in small animal clinic I and II.Her specialisation focuses on anaesthetics and pain management, with experience gained at the anaesthetics service of the Veterinary Hospital at the University of Bern (Switzerland) and additional courses in anaesthetics and locoregional anaesthesia. She has been featured as lead author or co-author in scientific communications presented at the AVEPA-SEVC 2022 congress.
Ane Azpiazu
Veterinaria
Ane has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza. She has extensive experience in the field of animal health, especially in feline medicine and oncology.Her passion for animal care has led her to be an active member of AVEPA (Spanish Small Animal Veterinarians Association) and GEMFE (Spanish Feline Medicine Group).
In addition to her academic training, she holds the GPCert in Feline Medicine, awarded by ESVPS (European Society of Veterinary Pathology), which makes her a highly qualified professional in this field. Her work at the Hospital focuses on the care of cats, providing them with the best possible medical and surgical care.
Besides her work, Ane enjoys a variety of hobbies that enrich her personal life. These include photography, reading, spending time with her dogs, attending dog shows and cooking.
Eider Sarobe
Veterinaria
Eider is a general veterinary surgeon with a degree from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza, specialising in anaesthetics and cardiology, after completing several masters and postgraduate courses.She is currently in charge of anaesthetics and the pain unit at the hospital.
In addition to being the senior veterinarian in charge of the areas of general medicine and cardiology, she also has a postgraduate degree in cardiology (GPCert(Card)). Eider is also jointly responsible for anaesthetics, which reflects her extensive experience and dedication in her field.
Ayla Manterola
Veterinaria
A graduate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 2021, she completed a six-month rotating internship at the Donostia Veterinary Hospital. She works as a general veterinarian and is responsible for the area of general medicine.She is currently studying a postgraduate degree in odontology and oral surgery, a speciality in which she is focusing on improving her skills and knowledge. Passionate about travel and books, she is constantly looking for new experiences and learning in both her professional and personal life.
Naroa Fernández

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of León in 2020 and obtaining the Master's degree in small animal medicine from the UAB in 2024.In addition to having taken different courses in different fields over the years, she is part of the Emergency Department of our veterinary hospital.

General veterinary practitioner with over 15 years' experience in small animal practice. Graduated from the University of Zaragoza in 2005 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.My professional career has focused on the comprehensive care of pets, with a specialisation in veterinary ophthalmology gained through various continuing education courses. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and the company of my family.
Naia Mitxelena

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in 2021, she works as a general practitioner veterinarian. Interested in ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine, she is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in internal medicine. She is responsible for the management of operating rooms,sterilization and hospitalization area, where she is in charge of maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness necessary to ensure the welfare of patients. Her dedication and skills in the organization and supervision of the hospital environment make her a key member of the veterinary team.
Ainhoa Urain

Ainhoa is a receptionist and assistant at the veterinary hospital, where she is jointly responsible for customer service and the retail area of the centre.After finishing her studies in tourism, she decided to change her professional field and trained as a veterinary assistant.
Since 2006, she has been part of the hospital team, responsible for administrative tasks and customer service. In her spare time, Ainhoa enjoys horse riding and spending time with her family, reflecting her dedication to both her work and her personal hobbies.
