The Mendiburu Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1991 by Teresa and Carmen Uribe. In 2000, it moved to new, larger and better equipped premises. It currently has a team of five vets and three assistants, and offers a wide range of veterinary services, including consultation, laboratory, radiology, surgery, dentistry and hospitalisation.
