Teresa Uribe
Veterinary Director
Teresa is a vet, director and the founder of Mendiburu Veterinary Clinic in 1991. She graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza in 1989.After a year’s stay at various clinics in France, she founded the clinic with her sister Carmen.
Since then, she has devoted most of her time to her great passion: soft tissue surgery. She is also involved in traumatology, orthopaedics and ophthalmology.
She continues to take courses to keep expanding her knowledge.
Carmen Uribe
Veterinary Director
Carmen is a veterinarian, director and founder of the veterinary clinic in 1991. She graduated in 1990 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zaragoza.After a six-month stay in England, she founded the Mendiburu veterinary clinic together with her sister Teresa.
Since he started, he has been mainly attracted to dermatology, and it is in this field that he has been training for the last ten years, attending lectures, courses and congresses.
He is also attracted to endocrinology and internal medicine in general.
He continues to take courses and training to keep abreast of new developments in these fields.
Irune Zalakain
Veterinary
Irune graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza in 2005. Since then she has been working at the Mendiburu Veterinary Clinic.Dedicated to internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, she is constantly expanding her knowledge by attending refresher courses. Her main area of interest is ultrasound (having worked in this area since 2009), and cardiology, which she is currently studying, having previously completed courses and internships with specialists in the field.
Arantza Andueza
Veterinary
Arantza has a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zaragoza. After a stay in Argentina and working at clinics in Navarra, she has been working at the Mendiburu Veterinary Clinic since 2011.Her passion, both inside and outside work, is felines, which is why she spends most of her time caring for cats.
She has completed numerous training courses in this area and is constantly learning not just about the feline world, but also about general internal medicine and ethology.

Nekane Gurruchaga
Veterinary Assistant
Nekane works as an assistant in the clinic. She is in charge of cleaning, organising orders and tidying up the clinic so that everything can start functioning normally the next day. Her work is essential for the clinic to run smoothly.She has always been an animal lover. Ever since she was a little girl, she has dreamed of working in a veterinary clinic. Her dream came true when she had the opportunity to start working at the Mendiburu Veterinary Clinic, where she has been for sixteen years. Nekane enjoys her work. She loves helping animals and their families.
Elixabete Etxenike
Veterinary Assistant
Elixabete is a veterinary technical assistant with a huge passion for animals. After obtaining her degree in 2020, she joined the team at the Mendiburu Veterinary Clinicwhere she has been working ever since. She is extremely committed to her work, which allows her to help animals and their families.
