UNAVETS, a veterinary group, has announced the acquisition of three new practices – The Coso Veterinary Clinic in Zaragoza, the Ruzafa Veterinary Clinic in Valencia and Carlos Rincon in Barcelona. The acquisitions build on UNAVETS’ investment in the Iberian veterinary sector, where each practice has benchmark facilities and cater for feline and canine care.

Coso Veterinary Clinic
Manuel López, Clinical Director and Head of Surgery, Traumatology, Cardiology and Endoscopy said: “After 23 years of experience that has led us to become a reference in feline medicine, joining the group gives us new impetus to continue growing and developing with the strength of the group”.
Coso is located in Zaragoza, alongside UNAVETS’ other practices. Services and specialties include preventive medicine, dermatology, cardiology, general surgery, oncology, neurology and feline medicine. In addition to its consulting rooms and operating theatres, the practice has its own laboratory, which allows for on-site sample analysis to be carried out, thus achieving a faster diagnosis. The center also admits localized emergencies.
Coso has a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians and nurses and other clinical team members and is led by Manuel Lopez. The center is at the forefront in the sector, constantly incorporating new technical means that allow them to offer the best care for pets.
Ruzafa Veterinary Clinic

Located in the historic Ruzafa neighborhood of Valencia, this is a clinic with more than 25 years of experience treating all kinds of pets. The center is led by Clinical Director María Ángeles Frontera who manages a multidisciplinary team of professionals specialized in different areas, such as cardiovascular medicine, ophthalmology, general surgery, feline medicine and diagnostic imaging. Among their services they offer preventive medicine and early detection of infectious and parasitic diseases, check-ups for older pets, feline medicine. The practice has consulting rooms and operating theatres.
Carlos Rincón Veterinary Center
“Our greatest goal is to re-launch our clinic, expand and renovate our facilities and improve our training, in order to offer the best possible service and treatment to our patients. The Carlos Rincon center is located in the town of Santa Margarida i Els Monjos, adjacent to the Vilafranca del Penedés province of Barcelona. The center is led by Clinical Director Carlos Rincon and has 23 years of experience providing veterinary services to the region, including preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, as well as all surgical specialties (e.g. general surgery, traumatology, ophthalmology, urinary and reproductive surgery). The facilities consist of consultation rooms, an operating room, x-rays, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, endoscope, laboratory and it also has an extensive pet store.
All clinics are operating as independent clinics under the UNAVETS Group.
